The following conditions apply to your cruise.
Conditions of Reservations:
Karapiro Cruiser reserves the right to alter prices and times without notice.
The maximum number of passengers we can hold is 40 people and the minimum is 15 adults. If the number of people in your group is 24 or more you can have the boat exclusively to yourselves. If your numbers are less than 24 people we reserve the right to include other groups. Please note that if you are the second group to book on a particular cruise then you will have to go along with the cruise and menu options that the first group have already chosen.
Deposit Policy:
A deposit of $250 is required to be paid to confirm your booking. Once this deposit is received your booking is secure. If the booking is cancelled after the deposit is received the deposit is non refundable.
Cancellation Policy:
Karapiro Cruiser reserves the right to charge when groups do not report for a confirmed cruise and do not make a cancellation prior to the cruise. Notice of cancellation must be given 5 working days prior to the cruise. Karapiro Cruiser reserves the right to postpone a cruise at anytime in regards to extreme weather, mechanical problems or any unforeseen family crisis.
Rubbish:
Part of Lake Karapiro is a designated wildlife sanctuary. Please help us keep the lake in its pristine state and protect the wildlife. Dispose of all rubbish in the rubbish bins provided. Please do not throw anything into Lake Karapiro.
Smoking:
Smoking is not permitted inside our vessel. For the comfort of all passengers we request that you only smoke outside. Ashtrays are provided on the outside decks.
Safety and Comfort:
Onboard the Karapiro Cruiser your comfort and safety is our primary concern. The Karapiro Cruiser has an approved Safe Ship Management System, audited by the Maritime Safety Authority (MSA), who conducts yearly inspections. Our vessel carries a Priority 1 Safety rating from the MSA. In addition all of our crew are regularly trained in safety drills.
