We'll get you to where the locals fish!
Fishing the southern reaches of Lake Karapiro around river mouths, weed beds and isolated locations along the lake edges. Hunting the rainbow and brown trout.
Fish on the change of light, early morning or evenings, to give yourself the best chance of catching the trophy fish.
You will be looked after by our guide, skipper and chef/waiter, who will give you a relaxed true kiwi experience. Catch and release your fish or we can smoke it for you on board the boat.
Breakfast and dinner options available
Evening excursion available from 5pm, morning excursion starts just prior to daylight, depending on time of year (normally 5-5.30am - summer)
Fishing excursions have up to a maximum of 4 persons, minimum of 3-hour trip.
Price $330 per hour - includes tea/coffee/hot chocolate and fishing gear. Price includes GST.
This price excludes the fishing license, meals and beverages. Licensed bar available.
Fishing license is Adult - $23, Junior (12-17 yrs) - $7, Child (under 12 yrs) free
